This is the 7th failed audit in a row for the DOD. Compared to last years missing $7.8 trillion dollars, it does look like there is a lot less cooked books but no excuse for those missing funds.
Many of these issues are simply bad book keeping. The other part is each day, The State Department awards various contracts which does report inaccurate numbers. This needs to be addressed quickly if we will make our economy strong again.
