After a few weeks of silence, the sun is has now awaken back with activity. An impressive x-class eruption followed by m-class flaring was able to produced a radiation storm. No geomagnetic storm in the next three days which is good but the impacts against our weakened magnetic field may produce Earthquakes.
Sunspot 4046 and 4048 are increasing in size and 4048 was able to produce a stunning x-class flare few days ago. The chances of Earth-facing flaring is high later this week.
