Earth is not out of the woods yet! We are under watch for not one, but multiple X-class flaring from two Earth-facing sunspots.
Yesterday, Sunspot 4100 packed a punched and produced multiple M-class flaring including a near X class. Both 4100 and 4099 are growing which gives a better chance for stronger flaring. Multiple M-Class eruptions, all Earth facing. Expect disruptions as CME to follow.
The biggest (so far) is M8.2 but small flaring has occurred before and after and as of this writing, an M6.0 has also erupted. CME impact is highly likely as this was Earth directed from sunspot 4100.
