Just a day ago, I have posted about the jet stream and the wind warning but this new article clarifies a few things that does contain the wind, the direction and the placement. According to NOAA, the polar vortex may not bounce back to its original position. Unfortunately, we have to wait another here for concrete proof of that statement.

While humans are still being blamed, the real factual science behind the titling makes a lot more sense and it does have a lot to do with the polar excursion. Redistribution of warm and cold air on an extreme tilt can make windy effects and the normal polar artic air to be disturbed.
This further supports that it will be more windy and will also see colder temps in the coming months. This is not good as it makes dry air prone for wildfires.
